About The Springs Country Club

Established in 1975 by developer Edwin Johnsen, The Springs Country Club is one of the original member-owned private clubs in the Coachella Valley. Its 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by Desmond Muirhead, with water in play at roughly a dozen holes and bentgrass greens, unusual for a desert layout, and underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation of its greens, bunkers, and irrigation. The 48,000-square-foot clubhouse anchors 46 pools and spas, tennis and pickleball courts, and a fitness and wellness center. Its low-rise, garden-style layout and long-tenured membership base set it apart from larger resort-style Rancho Mirage clubs like Mission Hills or Thunderbird.
